So I just got a new Asus z370 TUF Plus gaming mobo and Intel i7 9700k to build into my new Phanteks Evolv X case, the RGB, case fans, ram RGB, USB devices, and GPU fans all power on, but there's no display on my monitor. The mobo or the case I got didn't come with a speaker either, so I can't tell if it's beeping or not for an error code.

Is it possible that the mobo I got doesn't support 9th Gen Intel processors? Or is the mobo just dead on arrival?

Solution
The Z370 board doesn't have an updated BIOS to run the 9700k. You need an 8th gen CPU to update it or send that board back and get a Z390 which will boot the 9700k out of the box.
from what i can see from your motherboards features it does not have the option where you can update the BIOS without a compatible CPU installed

depending on which way you want to go you can try get a cheap 8th gen celeron or pentium CPU to get the board to boot to install the BIOS update
