I got my new build all setup and things are working perfectly fine after the PC starts up. I just want to ask a question about something to give myself a little piece of mind.
When booting from no power (PSU is switched off, then back on) the CPU light flickers red, the fans spin, and the system shuts down immediately, all within a second of hitting the power button. Then the system starts back up again (without me pressing anything) and everything works fine.
When booting from power (System has been shut down, PSU remains switched on) the system starts up perfectly fine, however I do briefly see the CPU light flicker before it starts up.
All temps are fine on the CPU. My idle temps are between 28-33 degrees Celsius. Gaming is no problem either, with temps in the 55-60 Celsius range.
I just want to know, is this normal? My other computer didn't do it. And I don't want to damage the computer in the long run. And I would rather do the repairs and exchanges now while I have receipts.
Here is my build:
ASUS Z390-A Motherboard
Intel i5 9600K CPU
Corsair H60 CPU Cooler
16GB TridentZ RAM
Corsair Carbide 270R Case
EVGA GTX1070 FTW
I don't have another CPU to test against it. I have also seated/unseated the ram, changed fan slots, etc. And the same thing is still happening.
Thank you in advance for your replies.
