[SOLVED] Asus z390 & Win10 Unknown USB Device

Hi all,
I've spent far too many hours trying to hunt down how to fix an issue I have with a USB port or hub not working.

I've tried to uninstall the item from device manager but it always comes back, upon reboot, as an issue.
Is there anything i can do?

Do you have latest version of Intel Management Engine Interface?

which Z390? Asus have a few

judging by Plus, latest version on its site is from 2019, and its probably same one as this - https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/133293/intel-z390-chipset/downloads.html

so that won't help unless you don't have it yet.

Do you have newest BIOS for motherboard?

It seems like BIOS or IMEI need an update as you shouldn't have unknown USB, PC should know whats attached to it.
I wonder what https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html shows.
