Hi,

I have i7 9700KF on Asus Z390M Prime, however, it seems ocing beyond 4.7gh - 4.8ghz is unstable, i can run games for couple of hours but i get black screens and freezes sometimes with auto restart.

I know i dont have top of the line board but i want to reach 5.ghz, i check youtube videos but it remains unstable.

my temps are find and are monitored by hwinfo.

mainly my settings are LLC auto (lvl 6), manual voltage as high as 1.36v but still not stable.

I want to check other owners if they managed to reach high ocing frequency.

Remember, online videos, posts, articles, and stories usually portray the top .1% of overclocking abilities. People rarely post about chips that are 'normal' or 'bad' overclockers. Just because buildzoid can get his chip to 5.0GHz doesn't mean you'll be able to do the same with yours - each wafer of silicon is different.

Did you start this venture by gathering baseline info? You need to see where your temps and voltages are at stock frequency, voltage, timings, etc. (including your video card).
