Question Asus Z390M - Prime Plus or Gigabyte Z390M Gaming for 9700k?

Hi. I'm searching for a basic motherboard that can handle perfectly a 9700k without thermal throttle (I will use the pc basically for gaming and some video/audio editting and I don't want to overclock it) I've heard that the gigabyte Z390M is just too much for a i7 9700k. Though I'm afraid of getting another MOBO that coocks up the VRAM. The cheapest Mobo which sais support the 9700k in my country are the Z390M Gaming Gibabyte and the ASUS Prime Z390M- Plus. Some people say that any z390 should work fine with the i7 9700k but is that really true? Wont it suffer from throttling?
