Ok hear I have a Asus Sabertooth z77 board I would say its great board other than the problem I am having with the two assist fans. They are so noisy it make it very hard to concentrate with them buzzing away. I am wondering if they are in sync with my cpu fan not sure has any one either had this problem or knows what this could be would very much like to calm these buzzards down thanks.

...good grief. Yet another one who bought into the marketing of the sabertooth.

The program you're looking for is "ASUS thermal radar." (At least on the P67 version of this board, it should let you turn down the RPMs... but that just worsens the insulating effects of the so called "thermal armor.")

on sabertooth z77 you can monitor temperature of several points of the motherboard.you can choose a manual profile of the assist fans and make them spin according to the temperature of a spesific point. each fan can be assigned to 3 different points. furthermore you can adjust through diagram the speed to temperature ratio.all these can be acheaved through thermal radar. install from motherboards cd.

AH ok my bad I did not check the bloatware disk thermal radar I shall use that I was trying to set them in the bios but was having no joy thank you.
