[SOLVED] Asus z790 only came with 4 screws, book says and shows i need 9, are they not all provided anymore?

Screws for mounting to the case are generally included with the case.
Those 4 screws are for something else, IMO.

Mainboards do not include screws to connect them to the case, these screws come with the case...
And these screws come with the mainboard are for M2 drives, one for each M2 slot. Don't lose them, because they do not come with the case and it is hard to find them.
