Hi all,

I have G.Skill 1600mhz 2x8gig modules in my Asus Z87-A mobo, and I cannot get my system to boot up. I know the mobo is having problems with my ram, cause my MemOK LED is flashing. I have tried tuning the ram and rebooting with the MemOK button TONS of times, I have also tried resetting the CMOS (removed battery and moved jumper) on my board to no avail.

I'm in kind of a pickle because the mobo's QVL list doesn't specifically list my RAM, however my ram's QVL list does indicate it is compatible with my mobo. My fault really, this is the first custom rig I've built, learning experience etc.

I know that my system is capable of booting up with my ram, I was able to get MemOK to tune the ram to 1333mhz and boot up once. Then I attempted to change the ram frequencies in BIOS and I was unable to boot my system again. Unsure if there is anything else I can do right now other than keep trying MemOK tuning?
