Asus Z87-A motherboard DRAM LED solid red and no post beep. Any ideas? Please Help!

Solution
Have you replaced the ram with something from the compatible list?

if you have installed ram that is high speed or needs higher voltage or the XMP profile to be loaded before it works, borrow a stick from someone so that you can make the necessary changes in the bios and then save and exit, shutdown, and install yours.

Thanks for the help, but I did get it solved a while ago. I just thought I would give my results to anyone with the same problem. This was actually an ongoing problem with tiger direct. I bought this kit http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=9080271&CatId=4910 and when it first arrived it didn't boot, never found out what it was even after replacing motherboard and cpu. So I just sent back everything and got it all replaced, it then all arrived and I did get the red light on the RAM_LED. I tried trouble shooting, memOK, resetting CMOS, Motherboard battery, all that and the next morning I just thought i'd try a new stick of ram from a friend and sure enough it booted fine after it was replaced. Also you were right the original ram wasn't even qualified with that motherboard. So in conclusion Tigerdirect products that i've dealt with havnt worked out well, however the customer service is OUTSTANDING. I can't believe how many replacements they allowed and even today I called about the ram and they refunded me and gave me a 100$ rebate. I probably wouldn't buy from them again personally just because of the stress but at least I would know it would work out in the end. And hopefully this helped someone.

HOW TO FIX:
If you had the same problem I did I found out a huge issue and a easy fix. Long after I fixed it I looked back on to why it happened and I am now certain what the problem was. If you have this problem, try connecting to a separate monitor. The outcome may surprise you. It turned out my sylvania television would not cooperate with the standard drivers and thus gave no output. It was never a hardware issue. Hope this helps, it doesn't hurt to try.
