Good day!
After having been looking the solution on several forums and websites without any success, I've decided to share my problem, in quest of an answer.
Here's the situation:
It all started when I've wanted to reboot my PC yesterday (a game would take ages to launch, not as usual). It turned off but never booted back!
In a nutshell, the problem is:
When I turn the power on, POST starts, with first GPU_LED lighting up and off as it should, then the DRAM_LED lights up before my PC shuts down and restart. This operation repeats itself several times but each time it takes a bit longer for the PC to shut down (1). Eventually, the Xth time, the POST works until the VGA-LED lights up (and the DRAM_LED goes off). That is the last stage it gets to before the PC shuts down completely without restarting. The VGA_LED remain lit for several seconds (5 to 10 I'd say) and then it is over.

Information:
(1) I wouldn't bet on that but I think these first restarts are caused by the MB that determines something with the ram.
I do not have, at any time, any video output
I have checked that each stick of RAM is well seated
I have tried with each stick of RAM individually, it doesn't change the outcome/
I have checked that my GPU is well seated.
I have tried with another GPU and without GPU, same result.
I have tried with my GPU seated in another PCIE slot.
I have check that there is no bent pin where the CPU is.
There is no metal part touching directly the motherboard that should not.
I have tried with the HD's power cord unplugged.
When the POST comes to the DRAM checking stage, there is this weird noise, I will try to catch it and upload it for you to hear it.
Everything was working perfectly fine until the problem came up
I would 98% of the time let my PC on sleep instead of shutting it down so it was since a while my PC didn't shut down.
I apologise for the flaws since English is not my native language.

Don't hesitate to propose something you'd think I already did, I'd rather double check something than missing the solution!

Config info:
For the ram: 2x HyperX Genesis DDR3 4GB (1600MHZ) + 2x Corsair XMS3 DDR3 4GB (1600MHZ)
CPU: i7 2600
GPU: GTX660 (MSI TwinFrozr3)
I've never had any problem of this kind before

If at first I was thinking about a ram stick problem, since the system manages to get through the ram check during POST and that it stops when the vga led lights up (with or without gpu), I really don't know what could be wrong (you'd tell me it is probably the motherboard itself that is dead and has to be changed, but if so, how can it go until the vga checking stage? That is a purely innocent question, only for my curiosity).

Thank you very much for having taken the time to take a look at my problem!

Hi Alexoiu
I did as how you asked, but the only thing it did was to stop all the restarts due to the ram (or at least when the led lights up) once and make the POST ok until the vga led stage.

Just a detail: now (or I didn't notice before) the pc starts one last time after the vga_led stage shut down and turns off after the dram_led lights up.

I am currently working on uploading a video to better show you the situation

Still restarting
By the way:
-Nope, I didnt' OC'ed the CPU
-Even if the POST lasts long enough, none of the usb ports are working (e.g. supplying power), from the MB or the tower case.

Unfortunately, I most likely won't be able to run a test with another power supply, I don't have a spare one and I'm not sure I'll be able to find one in a near future. I'm gonna try to get one though

I was almost 100% sure I answered you last night, I don't know what happened or if it got deleted, well:
I still haven't found a spare power supply to test it out, but I was browsing on YouTube and discovered that there was a way to sort of test your power supply with a paperclip and just a fan (you can probably find the video) and it was just to tell you that I did that and the outcome was successful but I don't know if in my case it can help somehow
By the way I've finally uploaded a video showing my problem and you can also hear (if you pay attention) the noise it emits when it goes to the dram checking stage. I am sorry for the horrible quality, I had issues and that was the fastest way to get it online.

Try leaving only the CPU and CPU cooler installed, both 24 and 8 pin power cables connected. No other components or cables.
Start the board by shortly touching with a screwdriver the 2 pins on the motherboard corresponding to the case power button. See if red DRAM led and if CPU fan spinning without restarting.
It's important to remove all other components/cables.

Ok so I've done that, just the CPU, its cooler and the power cables connected and it worked, no restart. The power supply and cpu cooler's fans were spinning and the Dram led was flashing (which is normal since there was no module seated).
You probably noticed with the video, but I forgot to indicate you my power supply: Corsair TX750M

By the way, thank you for your commitment, I really appreciate it.

Meh, I mistook and firstly tested each RAM module in the same slot.
So I tested the same module (one of HyperX's) in each slot but no successful result, it would still either restart at the dram check or eventually turns off when it reached the vga checking led.
