Hi, i just did a new build and my motherboard DIMM_A1 and DIMM_A2 dont work, if i use DIMM_B1 AND DIMM_B2 they work.
I bought 8 GB (2x4) of GSKILL RIPJAW X DDR3 2133MHZ and wanted to put in dual channel but i cant because the yellow slots (DIMM_A2 and DIMM_B2) dont work.
At the moment i am in single channel with the ram in the DIMM_B1 and DIMM_B2.
Tried Combinations:
DIMM_A1 only (dont work)
DIMM_A2 only (dont work)
DIMM_B1 only (work)
DIMM_B2 only (work)
DIMM_A1 and DIMM_A2 (dont work)
DIMM_B1 and DIMM_B2 (work)
DIMM_A1 and DIMM_B1 (dont work)
DIMM_A2 and DIMM_B2 (dont work)
Any Suggetions?
My Build:
Power:Be Quiet Pure Power L7 530W
CPU: intel i5 4670k
GPU: EVGA GTX760 SC
RAM: 2X 4GB GSKILL RIPJAW X DDR3 2133MHZ.
Motherboad: Asus Z87-A
CPU Cooler: Thermalright HR-02 Macho

Have you read through the manual and verified that this is not the normal operation while only installing two sticks of RAM? Some motherboards provide you with instructions on installing just 1, 2, 3, and 4 slots of memory in the manual!

DIMM_A1 and DIMM_B1 (dont work)
DIMM_A2 and DIMM_B2 (dont work)

I found a bent pin, only if i rotate the motherboard i can see, i will RMA and see if the pin have solution.

I will reply news when i get reply from RMA.

I know, when i said RMA but i really send it to the shop were i buyed. They are more qualified and experienced bending pins then i.
