Asus Z87-A will it work with Vista

Wanted to ask. I have a 1TB hard drive in my current I7 system running vista. I was wondering if I could move that over to my new I-7 4770k system without any troubles? I still need to Purchase Windows 7 for it, but I have the essentials to get it going tonight. Does anybody know if I should have any compatibility issues?

no issues as the OS is still supported for now. If there is anything it needs it will be in the updates.

EDIT: you will need to re install the OS but Vista will work with that hardware.

Doh thanks for the info. I'm still working on picking up an optical drive so looks like i'll be another few days without firing this bad boy up.
