Here is the MOBO I have;
Asus Z87-C Intel LGA 1150 Haswell ATX Motherboard

Here is the CPU I have;
Intel Core i7-4770 3.4Ghz Quad-Core LGA 1150 Haswell Processor

In the last week or so, there was an ASUS update that came through, updating the FW via Win 7-64. Power went out and came back on, and at that point there was a bios message regarding CPU or some such update. Needless to say, the point that I am at now, is the red CPU LED on and no post or access to bios.

Need to flash back to the previous bios to get this box operational.

The Asus CrashFree BIOS 3 utility is a tool for recovering the BIOS. It is listed on page 2-3 of the downloadable manual.

Updating the BIOS in a Windows environment is the least desirable way to update the BIOS safely. I would recommend using one of the other methods to update the BIOS.
