Recently did a motherboard and cpu upgrade on my system so the following specs are:

Intel i7 4770k 3.5GHz Haswell
Asus z87-pro
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL9 (x2 = 16GB)
Cooler Master Silent Pro M850 850W PSU
Geforce gtx 660Ti SLI

so to the issue:
whenever i try and boot the pc i get either the q-code 32 or 36. both fall under the same error message wich is CPU post-memory initialization. (tells me nothing other than it won't boot. Googled the error code but no proper explenation)
i have no chance to get into the BIOS/UEFI while this error is present as i get to image on my monitor.
i've removed my ram and and tried to put back in just one with no luck. i did this with all 4 sticks i have available, same thing with everyone. (note: they all work with the old motherboard and with an i5 cpu present)
i've done the above in SLI and with only one GPU installed.
i've pulled out everything that uses a USB port besides the keyboard.

I've also tried enabling TPU/EPU but then i get another error message and the pc starts for two seconds and then shuts down and repeats forever.
thinking maybe the RAM or my PSU is to weak with a haswell cpu and the new motherboard to OC with.

here's the thinker though.

If i press the MemTest button on the motherboard right after i press the boot button it starts the test and then goes on to giving me a picture on the monitor sayin MEM Test OK! press f1 to continue to system.
I do the following and i get to go inside the BIOS/UEFI.
i've rearranged my boot priorities setting my SSD with windows installed to boot. restart and then im stuck at the error code 32 again.

I've tried changing the XMP profile to profile 1. forcing the ram to stay at 1600MHz, and i get the error code 79 CMS initialization.

changed the profile back to normal and then the RAM stays at 1333MHz back to error code 32.

i downloaded the latest BIOS firmware update and tried to flash it. got the install done. and had to do a restart still get the error code 32.
as far as i know it didn't update.

The last thing i did was using the MEM test to get in to the BIOS and i chose boot priority and i press my SSD it immediatly goes into loading windows and it boots. with all components present.

im currently writing this on the desktop pc i have issues with.
when i reboot i have to go through the same process to get into windows again.

anyone have any idea on what's causing this ? Please advice.

did a rerun with the 1802.cap i got from asus listed as the newest bios upgrade. did it and the bios now says 1802.
my RAM is listed as 1.5V. still the same error code though.

After a lot of messing about i've found the issue regarding my topic here.
I had to to a CMOS reset and a new bios upgrade. removed all the ram except one while doing this.
now restarts as it should.

Seems like one of the RAM chips im using is faulty. or all of them are bad for this setup when it comes to overclocking as well. as i load windows it just gives out a BSOD and shuts down again. hopefully it's the ram at least.
trying to boot this setup now to 4.2GHz but thus far with no luck.
still trying to remove and swap RAM chips to see if one of them is the culprit.
will most likely have to buy some new and hope that does it for the OC part of this problem.
