Question Asus Z97-A issues booting to Windows 10

I have been having issues for the last couple of months booting to Windows 10. When switching on the PC doesn't go to the Windows screen but goes to the 'megatrends' bios screen where I have to press F1 then F10 to save, after which it will boot to Windows 10.
Is this a hardwear or software/bios update issue? It sometimes plays ball and boots straight to Windows 10, most 9 times out of 10 it fails and I have to go through the Bios.

Hi, Try replacing the CMOS battery with a new one.

Thanks elexoiu. Replaced the battery, logged on and error happened again. However, after saving bios settings and logging on to windows (as explained above), shutting down and logging on again seemed to work fine and booted straight to win 10. Fingers crossed it did the trick.

You're welcome. It's normal for the system to wait for the F1 key after replacing the battery. Let's hope that the issue got solved.
