ASUS z97-a turns on then off

I have an ASUS z97-a motherboard. After connecting everything and pressing the power button on my chassis, the motherboard will only have the fans spinning for less than a second before turning off.

My power supply is Corsair CX750M. I haven't plugged in my graphics card yet. My chassis is Antec 900. Processor is Intel 4790k. I have 4 ram sticks; two are MT8JTF25664AZ, and the other two are HMT351U6CFR8C.

The lights on the motherboard are lit and they all look green. When I press the power button, the fan processor and PSU fan will spin for less than a second and stop. No sounds, no light change (the lights are still lit). After pressing the power button, I'm not able to turn the system back on again unless I reset the PSU; this leads me to believe the system may be on but is in some sort of standby and just isn't getting anywhere. I have a DVI cord plugged into the onboard graphics, so it should be displaying to that, but it isn't.

Thanks for any help in resolving this issue.

I just took the mobo out of the case and am running only the power supply, DVI, and RAM. Now it's turning on the and the fans are running, but the DRAM LED light is solid red. Nothing is coming up on my monitor.

Do I have incompatible RAM? I used DDR3 RAM from a previous desktop that I had (two each of MT8JTF25664AZ and HMT351U6CFR8C). Is there something else going on?

Just tried each stick individually, none of them worked. I used them on a previous desktop without any issues.

Should I just get newer RAM sticks and see if they work?
