Anyone here of the Asus z97 AR motherboard? I bought it at microcenter because it was on sale but now I can't find anything about it online.

I am assuming that it is a fairly new model as it came out with the other Z97 motherboards that had gotten released. If ASUS still has a page for it up it means that their is not a newer model for that one...weird newegg doesn't have it tho...

Good luck finding it other then at micro-centers. Newegg doesn't carry it but Amazon does...business rating motherboards I would assume are more for productivity vs. gaming. I would recommend the following:

It has a gaming mode where it focuses all of your cpu and gpu power into gaming. It is one I would personally recommend as I've used it.

Don't get me wrong if you've ordered it keep it. Both are excellent motherboards for whatever you are doing.

Alright. I'm doing gaming on on ultra and all that plus video editing. I got it for 120 since it came with the 4790k

1 last thing, I couldn't find if this motherboard supports a headset with a mic

Yes it has 6 ports (the red one is a mic input)
