Asus Z97-Deluxe ERROR Code 55

First of all, I'm not a newbie! Built over 6 systems over the years. Have several badges on this website. That being said, here is my problem:

"New" build won't post. Error Code 55.

Manual (and online) says "No memory installed." BUT IT IS. Even the LED's on the memory are lighting up. Everything "spins up." Won't POST.

Tried everything: swapped with other memory, single stick, reseating (pushed in hard), CLS_CMOS, MemOK! button, all with same code.

Previous build with same mobo & memory: NO ISSUES! Did'nt change any switches or settings.

Don't think a BIOS upgrade (or flashback) will help, as I can't even get BIOS to post.

PLEASE HELP ASAP!

Check your ram is in the correct slots properly.

Try one stick in each slot and see if there's one slot not working. Sometimes just putting the ram in and out cleans it enough so it works again.

Then you mobo is faulty.

I was thinking that. DARN IT!

make sure the cpu seated and there no bent pins under it. the memory controller is built into the cpu. also make sure if your using a 3 party cooler you have not crushed the lid into the cpu. if it on tight it can cuase on asus mb memory error.
