Question Asus z97 mark 1 can't use PCIE 3.0

I buy an Rtx 2070 super which has a PCIe3.0 and my motherboard is ASUS sabertooth z97 mark 1 have PCIe 3.0/2.0 x 16_1, But in GPU-Z only show Bus Interface is PCIe x16 2.0 @x16.2.0 , Can help me ? Thanks.

Have you tested the second PCIe slot? Have you tried updating the board's BIOS?

Which CPU do you have? Some of the lower end Haswell chips might only have PCI-E 2.0 support, but I think that would only be the Pentiums and Celerons, I think Core i3 on up had PCI-E 3.0 by that stage.
