Asus Z97 Mark 1

So to get to the point my GTX 980 Kingpin edition wont boot in PCI-E Slot 1, it will boot to windows in Slot 2 but I get this error when trying to install the nvidia drivers "The graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware"

The on board GPU of the 4790k boots fine

I not sure what the problem is, GPU or MOBO?

32gb RAM
Asus Z97 Mark 1
GTX 980 Kingpin
EVGA SuperNOVA 1000w PSU

NO overclock on anything

Did you try booting with the GPU in the third slot? Also did you uninstall any intel drivers for the iGPU?

I have not tried it in the 3rd slot and yes I have uninstalled the intel drivers

so i tried the 3rd slot and no luck 🙁

So I replaced the Motherboard today with a Gigabyte z97 Gaming 7 and BAM booted perfect
