ASUS Z97-PRO Error 91 Driver Connecting is Started

Hello everyone,

I have this weird problem going on. Everything was working just perfect last night before going to bed. This morning, turned on the pc and got an error 91 on the display which, accordingly to the manual, is Driver Connecting is Started and the VGA Led stays lit and the computer is running but no image is shown.
I've tried everything, from clearing the cmos with the jumper, having just the motherboard cpu and 1 slot of ram in there, output to different monitors and a tv...nothing. The led stays lit and the error is still there. Went through the manual, tried everything online..I'm left with either some of you that had the same issue and knows what's going on or going with it to the store.

What's killing me is that the motherboard is 1month and this sort of thing really pisses me off...

Hi, If there's a graphics card installed, have you tried removing it and connecting the monitor to the onboard?

Hey there, thank you for the reply.

Indeed I did. Took off everything except for cpu and 1 slot of ram, connected the monitor to the onboard graphics and it still showed up the same error. Now there's an update. After clearing the cmos again and unplugin everything I got this:

Error 99...so I'm guessing the mb is as good as dead and I should just stop trying and take it to the store right?

Can you reconnect the CPU fan? Is it connected to the CPU or CPU_Opt header?
If still the same, try testing the board outside the case, only CPU and CPU fan. see what error getting.
