What would be the best i7 cpu to buy for Asus z97 pro gamer motherboard.i will be using corsair 32gig of vengeance ram and a msi gtx980

Not sure what country you are in. They are no longer made so you are looking at the 2nd hand market. In the UK maybe eBay or Gumtree.

The ram has to be dd3 instead of the current ddr4 as well.

Edit: do you already have the mobo and ram? If not you’d be better off buying a modern cpu like the 8700k, new mobo, and ram.
