I just built first gaming PC and here are the specs:
asus Z97 - Pro (WIFI ac) motherboard
i7-4790 lga1150
1 tb wd hard drive
gigabyte geforce gtx 980
crucial mx200 ssd
corsair 200r
I am able to see the bios screen and it appears to have everything connected. When I try to load Windows 8.1 it cycles through the setup and when it restarts it says out of range on the monitor screen. Happened on multiple monitors. I have logged in at the repair screen two things happen if I click restart it stops, if I click repair 5 hours later it does the same exact thing as before the repair, if i try to goto command prompt it asks for an administrator password which I have never entered because it has never allowed me to get that far. So confused.
