I recently completely took apart my computer for cleaning and I also bought a new keyboard which is wired usb. I have a corsair spec 01 case. I disconnected the USB 2.0 front panel i/o connector and the USB 3.0 front panel connector (slide 6: https://www.manualscat.com/en/corsair-carbide-spec-01-manual).
They are now reconnected to USB 1314 and USB3_34 (http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1150/Z97-PRO/E9062_Z97-PRO.pdf?_ga=2.116605830.1207780511.1522578731-677592380.1520088483) (page 1-4).
The problem is I got the message: "USB device over current detected will shut down in 15 seconds "on start up. It has only happened once and boots up normally usually. Is there anything I should do?
As the keyboard is brand new it might be that I guess but I think its more likely that its something to do with the cleaning. I reconnected the USB devices into ports that were never used before so it could be that.
