Asus z97-pro with HyperX Fury (4x, 8GB, DDR4-2133, DIMM 288)?

do i run into problems dropping these HyperX Fury (4x, 8GB, DDR4-2133, DIMM 288) into my Asus z97-pro? thank you very much!

Not compatible you need DDR3 modules for Z97.

this is what im running for a few years, some old patriots black - that i cant find anywhere anymore where i live,
im thinking to upgrade with another 2x8gigs. : https://puu.sh/sQ2dN/69d0e4bfd9.png
would it be whiser to just go with something like this: HyperX Fury Black (2x, 8GB, DDR3-1600, DIMM 240) ?
they are right now on sale and wouldnt hurt that much. or would you advise something different?

Adding ram sometimes works sometimes not , even identical modules purchased at separate times can be incompatible.

so its a 50/50 here.
is it worth to try and putting those furry black in and if it doesnt work to bring back the furry's, ditch the old patriots
and go for the ones you posted me above? im running a pretty "old" machine with

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770k (4.40)
CPU Cooler: Darkrock 3 pro
Motherboard: asus z97-pro
Power Supply: CORSAIR RMx RM750X
Ram: Patriot black 16gb
Case: nzxt h440
Operating System: Windows 7

what would be the smartest thing to do with the rams?

If they let you return it's worth a try. If not then grab the 32GB set.
