Whats The Point In Having It If You Can Just Plug The Front USB 2.0 Header Directly Into The Motherboard

 


I believe you would you it if your front panels was not using the standard USB 2.0 header form before, but now you probably don't need this.

It's a decent case although its a pain for me to change anything inside as it is heavy. Got it so the pc will be quiet.
I using the Q-Connectors for the front panel but not the USB one.

Yeah it is for convenience, if you have an older case with all those single leads (like in above picture) this connector saves you the hassle of connecting each one to the CORRECT PINS directly onto the mobo... while not bending them..learned that the hard way one time :|

With this your just plug them into the Q-connector easily, and then even more easily plug the whole module in.

But, as stated before, if you have newer case with "one line/plug" USB 2.0 leads - this is redundant and not needed.
