ASUS zenbook UX430 UA any good now?

Hello community,
I am very tight on the budget at the moment. I am getting the Asus zenbook 14 inch 430 UX model with intel i5 8250U. I will be using this laptop for making PowerPoint, browsing and watching movies. I need something light weight and with good battery life and aluminium chassis. Is my decision right?

if you can find 4000u series amd. they perform better

Acer has launched its 3 series where I live. But the screen is so washed out. So, I am against the only 4000 series laptop launched here in India.

The Asus Zenbook 14 inch 430 UX model with intel i5 8250U is excellent. My wife has one. The screen is great, sound is fine, keyboard nice, screen matte, it is cool and comfortable, nice to the touch. I have an HP Envy 13 which I loathe, and wish I had bought a 430 UX.

Great. I am really thinking of trying to sell my HP Envy 13 to buy an Asus 430 UX. Every time I pick up my wife's Asus I think: "I like this machine!" I bought the Envy because it retains the old-style keyboard layout with a vertical range of keys at right (a layout generally used in Asia, but almost unknown in Europe). But it isn't enough to compensate for its other disadvantages.
