Asus Zenbook UX501VW - is this temperature too hot for gaming?

I just recently purchased an Asus Zenbook UX501VW, which has a i7-6700HQ processor and the Nvidia GTX 960M graphics card with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM and 16 GB DDR4 RAM. So, I was planning to play GTA 4 on the PC (late to the game, but I had it on the PS3, however the graphics were very bad) and so I installed the game. But, I started worrying about over-heating and that causing issues to my laptop.

So, after some tweaking, I reduced the CPU clock-speed to 70% of maximum and using temperature monitors, I was able to notice in-game that the temperatures for the CPU were around 65-70C, going to the higher end in intense scenes. Likewise the temperature for the GPU was around 75-80C. They sometimes go as low as 60C for CPU and 70C for GPU during the game, but mostly hover around 68C for CPU and 78C for GPU.

I put a big table fan right next to the laptop and ambient room temperature is kinda low today, around 20C but can go up to 25C on other days.

Are these temperatures for the CPU and GPU okay for this laptop? Will it cause any damage to the laptop itself? What should I do to reduce temperatures even further? I know that laptops are not well ventilated in general, and this one especially has even fewer vents, but I wanna do the best I can.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have a good suggestion for a cooling table? Also, I put my table fan at full blast right next to the laptop, I had the laptop stand on its side so that the fan is blowing directly onto the bottom of the laptop, but it did not seem to effect the temperature much. Would a cooling table help reduce the temperature further, and if so by how much do you reckon?

And don't worry, I am not putting this laptop on my lap while gaming! I have it hooked up to a keyboard and monitor when I game.

P.S. So this range of temps can really hurt the longevity of the laptop!? Should I worry about premature degradation of my laptop's performance if I play a few hours every day (say 1-2 hours per day)?
