Hey all,

I'm looking at the above mentioned laptops, however the only one that's being sold in my town is the UX510UX, yet, all the reviews I search never mention it, it's always the UX510UW.

It seems like they are essentially the same, other than the UW having a GTX 960M apposed to a 950M. Anyone have any further detail or are they practically identical? Not sure how ASUS works with their models.

One other main question, in-store, it says Full HD 1920 x 1080. Yet, on the ASUS site (both models) it says "Up to 3840X2160 4K UHD Resolution" yet they don't distinguish whether it's for different models or anything of that nature... If any of you have some details, let me know. Thanks.

If you're intending to game on this laptop, the 960M is better; a laptop with a GTX 1050 or 1060 is MUCH better yet, and not far from that price point.

Often a specific model laptop can be ordered with a higher-res screen; unless it is called out specifically on the one you're ordering, it's likely the base-res screen (1080p).

I do not plan to game on it, so that's not an issue.

Ah I see, seems like that will only be the case if I order directly from ASUS which I'm not interested going through, especially not for extra cost.
