Hi. I have an ASUS GM501 (1070 Max-P version, to be exact) and I've been using it for nearly 10 months. During its use for mainly gaming, it did hit 94c a lot of times on newer games like Project Cars 2 and F1 2018 until the point it throttles. I did some tinkering with the CPU undervolt via Throttlestop, which somehow worked up until a few days ago. Now, my games throttle at 86c, which is unusual considering how it normally would throttle at 95c, according to the BD-PROCHOT readings. Should I send it in for a repaste, or is there any workaround for this issue?

Also, can someone explain how the BD-PROCHOT setting changes value on its own? I can't seem to find any articles on it.
