Just upgraded to and epox EP-8KDA3J with a sempron 3100+. I had planned for a nice weekend of overclocking, but the bastard won't start up. I tried starting up with my 9800 pro but when i try that everything turns on but it wont post, and nothing is displayed on the screen. I replaced the 9800 with a gefore 2, when i did this everything turned on, it posted, but again nothing showed up on the monitor. The epox board has a tiny display on the motherboard itself capable of showing 2 characters at a time. With the 9800 in it would read "25." With the geforce 2 in it read "f7." Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :]

What did you plug into the motherboard?
20 pin and 4 pin connector? 24 Pin.
What was your last system?

Did you disconnect HDD's , floppy, CDROM other PCI cards ?

The loving are the daring!

i plugged in both the 20 and 4 pin connectors. i am using a 430w Award PSU (crappy generic). 2x512 CMX512-3200C2 (corsair xms ddr400 3200). I had a pci sound blaster which i just took out but with no change.
There is appendix in the manual like on of you said, but they're all 3 digit numbers and even still, they dont have any that are close to "7h" or "25" at all.
also, i unplugged floppy, hd, and cdrom, nothing changed. i wonder if i should RMA the mobo... :[
thanks for the responses guys, any other ideas? Thanks!

I've used a lot of Awards in low-end cases. They put out 17a on the 12v rail. Enough to drive a Sempron easily. I have run overclocked A64's off of them albeit I don't use them anymore because of the need for more 12v rail power. I would look elsewhere first for your problem.
