ATA-133 fastest HDD that can be used at a low price

Fixing up an old Dell Dimension 4550 with has ATA-133. Anyone know where to purchase the fastest HDD that won't break the bank? I noticed on ebay a maxtor 300gb 7200rpm HDD with 16mb cache but nearly $50 for shipping is not very tempting..
