Can i use a ATA100 hardrive on a motherboard which only
supports ATA66?.

Yes, they are all backward compatible.

umm arrow, didnt he say can i use a 100 hard drive on a 66 mobo? if he was saying a 66 hard drive on an 100 mobo yes, backward compatible, but not the other way around? or am i misreading htis

100-to-->66 .. that's backward and includes drives and controllers... yes you can use a ATA 100 on ATA66, though it'll operate at ATA66.

***Hey I run Intel... but let's get real***
