Just curious if there is an Athlon FX-51 that is socket 939 and, if so, if anyone knows if it requires registered dimms.

You can only get the FX 53 and 55 for 939.

Some people are like slinkies....
Not really good for anything but you cant help smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

Nope but you really like to have the 51 at 939 could get the 53 or 55 and downclock it ;-)

Not, but anyway, you can buy an Athlon 64 3000+ and overclock to 2.4GHz and you will kill any FX-51 out there!
