Athlon x4 740 confusing temps (overheating?)

Hey everyone,
Just bought a FM2 processor (Athlon X4 740) with FM2-A55M-P33 mobo because my old CPU and Mobo somehow burnt (FX-6300)... I just downloaded a HWmonitor because i tought that with the cooler i have it will have a really nice (low) temps... But i was wrong... I tried switching off turbo boost and just adding 3mhz to the base clock so it will have at least 3.3ghz... Didn't help at all...
I reapplied thermal compoud, reseated the cpu heatsink but no difference... Strange is that AMD Overdrive is showing completely different temps from HWmonitor... I have no idea whats the right temp, or if its still safe having these temps?

These are 100% load temps... As you can see the overdrive says something about 47°C but the HWmonitor is 72°C

and these are idle temps... HW monitor showing about 50°C but Overdrive smthng about 68°C

Can somebody help me? I'm really confused from these temps and i have no idea what could i do with it...

AMD Overdrive measures temperature of the CPU differently: the number shown is 'the thermal margin'. Most hardware monitors aren't accurate for AMD CPUs; I would ignore them.

AMD Overdrive's thermal margin is how many deg C until the CPU overheats. At idle loads, the thermal margin should be high. At full load, the thermal margin becomes lower.

The readings in the pictures are fine.

If the thermal margin drops to under 20 deg C at full load, then it would be a worry.

I had similar worries about my x4 760k. Looking at other threads about temperatures for AMD CPUs say the same things.
