Athlon x4 860k

Solution
Look up the model, on the manufacturer's website. It will list all compatible CPU's plus what bios revision is necessary to run them. FM2 boards cannot run FM2+ CPU's. FM2+ boards can run FM2 cpu's. To be honest, I wouldn't bother upgrading an old FM2 rig, unless it was really cheap. A pentium G4560 would walk all over any FM2/FM2+ cpu.

i red that the Athlon can be used on a FM" or FM2+, is that true?

I would check the specs for your motherboard, you are trying to use a FM2+ CPU on a FM2 motherboard, you can use an FM2 CPU on an FM2+ motherboard, i don't think you can use a FM2+ CPU on an FM2 motherboard. Check your motherboard manufactures website for a list of supported CPU's.

i red on the mobo manual that it supports AMD Athlon series processors...

Simple Google of the CPU shows it is a FM2+. As you might not know what a FM2 or FM2+ socket is, again Googling comes to the wiki which states "Socket FM2+ APUs are not compatible with Socket FM2 motherboards due to the aforementioned additional pins"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_FM2%2B

Also you do not seem to understand what is meant by "AMD Athlon". Athlon (again Googling or Wiki) " is the brand name applied to a series of x86-compatible microprocessors designed and manufactured by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)." SO like Levi's is a brand name of JEANS, it doesn't specify Levi 501 28 Waitst x28length boot cut jeans would feel comfortable as your Levi 502 48waist x 30lenght Loose Fit jeans do. Though both LEVI's are for Men (same logic as what your said). If that helps make you understand.
