will this cpu work in the soyo dragon plus with latest bios? Soyo site under bios update states supports up to 2100+ but products page for D+ states supports up to 2200+. Just wondering if anyone has info on this. TIA. Eddie

From my experience so far with Overclocking the Dragon, I always had problems when the Mhz climbed up to the next processor designation, they should soon be posting a new Bios flash for the 2200+ then I'll see if my 1900+ which is presently at 2100+ can climb on up to his big brothers place with no problems. I would say until you flash the Bios for the 2200+ it will not run it, I could be wrong but I seriously doubt it.

You never know what you can do until you try.

Yeah, I just received an email from soyo tech support saying that I would have to rma my mb in for changes in order for it to support the xp 2200+. Wonder what changes need to be made. I've sent them an email asking. We'll see if I get a reply.

Disregard my previous reply, unfortunately, It runs at a lower voltage, flashing the Bios may not get us there but overclocking will.

I think I'm gonna go with the 2100+. After careful consideration, I think that would be the best overall value. I just bought a new lian li aluminum case and I'll just o/c the crap out of it. Thanks 4ryan6 and all for your replies......Eddie
