Hi Guys, hope you can help me with this one,
i have just brought a 1.5GHz XP, and a giga-byte GA-DX7, with 256Mb ddr ram. putting it all together it didnt work. Well no surprize there then i hear you say, this baord does not support that chip from new.
No probs then i chucked in a 1.33 266 Athlon chip, booted up no probs. that i'll be the board chip and mem ok then. Downloaded the updated bios from there web site. flashed the bios, all went ok. put in the chip, still no boot.!!!! am i doing somthing wrong?....or is the chip just dead? and i cant get a spare chip at the mo.
