I've heard before that AMD Athlon 64 3700+ "CLAWHAMMER" 754-pin 2.4GHz will be launch today. IS THIS TRUE??

AMD is moving fast, but today? i really do not believe so. Intel doesn't has a 3.7Ghz Cpu, so AMD has nothing to compare it to. 😉

If it would, The Inquirer would have noticed.
And i dont think its needed for AMD, they already have the fastest CPU and it would not be good for sales for the FX.

Athlon 64 3700+ and FX-55 will probably come out at about the same time. I think the latest AMD road map stated that these processor were due to April/May.
