Ati 4650 visiontek

just bought this card , installed it worked fine , its read in the vista 32bit display driver, so far so good .

i go install the newest drivers 9.9 and they fail , so i try 9.8 driver, those fail , i try the original cd that came with the card success , but those drivers are real old.

so i need to install a newer version how can i do this i read somewhere u can have success by installing though safe mode, any other tips i can try guys?

what exactly do you mean when it fails?

after the install , the catalyst shows the install resluts , everything gets installed properly except the driver itself.

very odd , i get the message driver failed, but i checked the date on device manager and , its the new driver so it did work , just says failed on final status after install.
