I'm currently looking to purchase a HD4890 and was wanting to know would my ASRock A780GMH/128M motherboard be compatible with a 4890 ATI card? . On the chart it looks like it's not because of the hybrid crossfireX but someone said there's a way u can get it working through the bios.

That mobo has 1 PCIE slot and will be compatible with the HD4890. Hybrid crossfire is using the onboard graphics and the card in unison. I am not familiar with hybrid crossfire yet so i wont go into more detail. You will just need to check you PSU for the proper wattage and connections and disable on board graphics in the bios.

hybird crossfire enables the on board to help the GPU out a bit, I to am not sure what advantage this brings.

just check your powersupply and make sure its ampage is high, for single rail you need like 46amps or more for those that split into multi rails like modulers and stuff, I would say at least 18 amps as my HD4870 was fine with that
