Hello I have resentful purchased an XFX 5770 and I am wondering if it is performing at a lower state then it should be-
It should be noted that it is now OCed to 950/1240 which has uped the FPS not hurt it.

In MW2 (Max everything with 2xAA) it seems to be running about the same frame rates as my old 4830: 60-90FPS Avg about 75. Is this normal? When I go into Counter Strike Source and run the vid stress I get about 150FPS, with everything maxed.

I was really hoping for a steady 90FPS in MW2 (Frame limiter stops it fro going any higher)- But it seems to do the exact same if not worse then my 4830.

I am running the latest drivers-

PC specs:
4GB of Ram
600W PSU
AMD 9950 Quad (2.6).

Thanks for ANY help/suggestions- It would be great if another owner of a 5770 could compare his frame rates with mine- I might have hoped for more then this card had to offer.

Might be a bottleneck CPU problem?
I own a 5770 and here it is what mine can do: http://www.frozentek.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?5711 -made by me so if you find any mistakes in writing ignore them:). (not my first language)

Remember to register it within 30 days from the purchase date. I say register when you red this message. If not you will lose your warranty.

At what resolution do you play your games?

I registered the day I got it- This is not about my CPU, it's about my 5770 running worse then my 4830.
My CPU is slowing my card down? I also have a stock cooler on my CPU so OCing isn't much of an option.

I play at 1360 x 768

I just looked at your link and we have close to the same FPS- I guess I was expecting more then it put out- Crossfire in the future i guess.

When do you think these cards will be unavailable?
Is cross-firing on 600W fine?

Do you have the latest drivers installed?

At that resolution you should have far more fps then i have in any game in that review.

Such low resolution surely bottlenecks a old phenom

My friend's pc when playing MW2 with core i5 750 and 5770 gets average of 75 fps @ 1920*1080 and 4x AA
