I bought an ATI all in wonder 9200 at wal-marts today. I have not open the package yet because I noticed it was 4x 2x. The card has the TV Tuner,128 DDR . What do you all think about this card. It is only 4X,2X.It cost 149.00. I am presntly running the FX 5200 envidia card with 128 DDR no tv tuner. Would it worth it to switch. Bruce

If you’re looking for a cheap AIW card I would have gotten the ATI AIW 9000 Pro I’ve found one for my sister for $130 and it comes with the remote wonder. All three cards (5200,9000,9200) are very comparable. ATI says the 9200 is AGP 8x spec, but that doesn’t mean anything. You really don’t notice a difference between 4x and 8x. The 9000 will be faster in most benchmarks relative to the 9200. In the end for games I doubt you will notice much of a difference. You are, for the most part, trading one mediocre card for another, but having TV record/playback capability definitely rules. In the end, I would bite the bullet and spend the extra $60-80 and get the ATI AIW 9600 Pro, a dx9 compatible card with a FM tuner and remote wonder that is much faster than the previously mentioned cards. Not to mention many AIW 9600 Pro cards have the Half Life 2 voucher.

I forgot. The AIW 9600 Pro also does multi-monitor.

I will return to my cave now. Curse the sun.

The AIW 9200 is a newer, significantly slower version of the VERY OLD AIW Radeon 8500. If you can find the older card, it's far better. Or choose the AIW 9600 Pro, but be prepared to pay over $200 for it.
