I have a terrible time trying to run the Play center for my All-In-Wonder PRO card on Windows 2000. In fact, it just freezes my whole system when I try to run it. Does anyone of you have been able to use the Play center for the AIW PRO PCI with win2k?

I have a K6-II 400 on a FIC mother board with 128MB of PC100, running with a RAID array of 2 quantum LM.

From past experience, I have found that the AIW and AIW Pro are quite useless in Windows 2000, due to ATI being slow at delivering drivers. You can not use the Win9x/NT4 software that came with the card. You might want to try ATI's special perpose driver site and download the "RAGE PRO" driver as well as the Multimedia center. You can find it at:

"Hmm, I wonder how many pieces this will end up as when it hits the ground?"

I just returned two ATI AIW Radeons becuase they are just overpriced TV Tuner cards in Win2k anyhow. Nothing worked properly accept TV. What pieces of [-peep-]. If your stuck on Win2k return the card now if it is not to late or dump that piece of [-peep-] on ebay.
