Yeah I know that's the official, I just downloaded the 71.80 the other day that's why I'm askin'. HE seemed dissapointed so I thought a shot at a new driver might cheer him up.

I first found them on a German site but they were in the german packaging, so I looked for an english site with them and voila.

Considering I'm running them on an FXGO5200, I wouldn't possibly be able to tell you if they are any good, but they work for me for the minimalist stuff I do with my laptop.

What driver version have you been using? I've just went with the 6693's that were on the BFG disk for now. If any issues arise, or once I've explored them on most games/benchies, then I'll try a beta. Not liking the sound of farcry water banding as I planned to replay farcry now that I can up the res/detail/eye candy some.

Elite Bastards looks at the Cat5.2s and there are some boost within;

Gamewise, only minor changes in D3 and HL2, but big boosts in FartCry. Inreresting to see exactly what's going on there to gain the dramatic boosts.

University is likely T3 at the lowest, and more likely OCx (starting at OC3 [no one really provisions OC1 anymore {just like T2}] and work up [OC192 is standard commercial max, but OC768 is the industry max before it losing all meaning {they are just bundle multipliers anyways}]). I wouldn't be surprised if ATI's worked out of a network of networks, but even they are likely minimum OC12 or OC48 bundles.

I find ATI downloads among the fastest out there, truely incredible considering how sporatic their release dates are, but maybe they simply rent extra volume for these launches.
