ATi Catalyst Control Center 11-9

I just received a radeon hd 6870X2 Dual gpu. After setting it up on my computer,i booted and erased all previous drivers with driver sweeper. my computer now stays stuck at Currently installing: catalyst manager...


What could it be and how long does it take for installation to finish from the start.ive been trying for more than an hour.

welcome to the forum,
try to install the driver that cam with the card, anyway the official CCC is still 11.8
and it should take only 4 minutes installing the whole drivers and everything

11.9 was actually released yesterday. As already stated, try installing the drivers that came with the card first, then update to the current version.

regardless the beta drivers for the BF3, i checked AMD website and CCC update and i can olny see 11.8

The 11.9 Catalyst Suite is up, just use the find a driver tool on AMD's homepage and it will take you to that link. I think the 11.10 beta drivers are the ones optimized for BF3, not 11.9.

yeah i just saw it now, yes 11.10 preview are the drivers for the AMD HD 6K, 5k series
