Ati confusion

hey ppl //im plannin to buy a ati radeon 4770 r 4670 card in few days...but i jus saw ova the net tht ther r many installation nd drivers related issues with the ati cards....is it realy tht serious prob......cos i liked the performance to price ratio f the cards i mentioned above.....pls suggest......

Ive been using Nvidia for ages but recently built my bro a new gaming rig

and decided to go for the 4870x2 as it has great price/preformance

and that card was easy to install and load drivers just like the nvidia card.

although im not sure what the 47xx or 46 xx will be like

the 4770 card is a great card, uses very little power, great overclocker, gddr5 memory. granted the 4850 still beats it, but the 4850 is also a little bit more expensive and uses more power.

In 6 years I've never had driver problems with ATI, but I have had problems with Nvidia.

imo most driver related problems are user problems thus easy to fix either nvidia or ati should give you fine drivers/cards
