Hello!

I recently have had my laptop replaced by a Desktop. My original computer was a Dell Precision M6600 but now i have a HP Z400 Workstation so i can hopefully have a better gameplay performance since the Dell was a strictly for just cading really which resulted in a high CPU. But back to why i am here in the first place. Should i switch my graphics card with the ATI or should i stick with the Nvidia if i want better gaming performance?

Thank you for you time :)

NVidia Geforce cards make a helluva lot better workstation card then any workstation card does at gaming .... Im gonna guess that some salesman started this rumor that workstation cards were better for CAD, they are better for rendering but most GeForec cards are better at CAD .

In 2D CAD .... Geforce cards score a 447 tot he Quadro's 450 and 774 to 767
In3D CAD, the Geforce cards easily take the workstatioin cards
In Inventor, the Radeon cards come out ahead of the Geforce which come sout ahead of the workstation cards
Maya finally gives a significant win tot he workstation cards
Solidworks is workstation only
3D Max and Iray go back to the GeForce cards
