ATI graphics card not working

Hi,

I'm using HP pavilion dv6 laptop and recently I've installed windows 8 pro. (before it was windows 7 home premium) I had ATI mobility radeon premium graphics card (as it on the label) and when I right click on the desktop there was an option for the ATI graphics card.

After upgrading to windows 8 pro, I can't find any ATI graphics card settings and it's like the graphics card is inactive. Now I have problems when playing games like incomplete visuals and slower frame rate. What would be the problem ??

Do not worry ati driver is missing just download it and install - http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

Try to find which amd gpu you have and download according to it.

I'm not sure which amd gpu. I don't know how to check it. Only thing I know is what's on the label. It says "ATI Mobility Radeon Premium Graphics, supports microsoft DirectX 11"

When I go to the link you've provided I had difficulties to select an option for step 2 (selecting the product family your product belongs to) And what would happen if I choose the option "automatically detect and install" ??
