First time poster...been on here for a while though :).

I just recently made a huge upgrade on my monitor and video card. i was runnin an Nvidia 8600 and a CRT screen, just upgraded to a 24" Samsung LCD and a ATI HD 4850, and wow, that thing is a brick in my box :p. But in all seriousness I've installed all of the drivers etc and taken care of the necessities.

I am worried that My card isn't running at PCI-E 2.0 x16. and i think it may only be running at 2.0? Inside of my Catalyst Panel this is my readout:

Primary Adapter
Graphics Card Manufacturer Powered by ATI
Graphics Chipset ATI Radeon HD 4850
Device ID 9442
Vendor 1002

Subsystem ID 2470
Subsystem Vendor ID 1682

Graphics Bus Capability PCI Express 2.0 <------ Is there something I don't have enabled or is it set to this by default?
Maximum Bus Setting PCI Express 2.0 x16 <------ How can I achieve that?

BIOS Version 011.016.000.028
BIOS Part Number 113-HD485XZDF13EP
BIOS Date 2009/07/08

Memory Size 1024 MB
Memory Type GDDR3

Core Clock in MHz 700 MHz
Memory Clock in MHz 1000 MHz
Total Memory Bandwidth in GByte/s 63.6 GByte/s

My Motherboard is relatively new, its a GA-p35-ds3L with PCI-E 2.0 capability. I have a Core 2 duo @ 2.66 Ghz and 3Gb of ram, everything is pretty solid on my box now. I just want to make sure I'm getting the most out of my new Card - Also, I'm running XP Pro, not Vista - If i need to upgrade to get the most out of my stuff then I'll wait for W7.

Thanks in advance!
